Born out of a shared passion for food and a love for one another. It all began in a hibachi kitchen where Beth and Djay Beach met. For years, they worked side-by-side, sharing a dream of creating something of their own.
That dream took its first step in Cibolo, TX, with a humble hibachi food truck. The community welcomed them with open arms, and the support was truly overwhelming. It was there, serving the incredible people of Cibolo, that they realized their true calling was to plant permanent roots. So, they took a leap of faith, secured a building in Universal City, and put down a true home for Itachi.
From the very beginning, Itachi has been a true family business. I, Kayla, have joined the team to bring my marketing and web design skills to the table, helping to share our story with the world. We've woven our history into our recipes, including our special sesame ginger dressing, a favorite of Beth and her son Damion. Our restaurant is a natural extension of our blended family, as Djay’s Indonesian heritage and Beth’s American roots come together to create a unique ambiance and a menu that feels both cozy and adventurous. Djay's lifelong love for anime inspired our theme, and our family—including Djay’s brother Nuri—bring their hearts into the kitchen every day.
It is our heart's desire to be a shining light in this community. We aim to offer more than just a meal; we want to provide a place to rest, to enjoy good, clean food, and to enjoy the company of others. When you walk through our doors, you're not just a customer—you're an extension of our family.
Our mission has always been to be a shining light in our community by offering good, clean food and a place to rest. But the greatest reward we receive is hearing from you. We are honored to share a few words from the customers who have welcomed us into their hearts and made our dream a reality.

The food was absolutely incredible. Every dish reflected a true passion for quality and flavor — it’s clear the chef takes great pride in their craft. Each bite felt thoughtfully prepared, with attention to detail that elevated the entire dining experience.

For starters, I really appreciate how we were greeted. The environment was very friendly and enjoyable, the restaurant was also themed, which made the ambiance fun... The food was very yummy! I'd also say that pricing was fair and we got a good amount for a fine price. I'll definitely be coming back, and recommending.
